Running for a Cause-Multiple Myeloma
In Memory of Glen Luczko
My father was supposed to be here to watch me run the NYC marathon which I completed yesterday. Instead he was is in Calgary with his 41 year old brother Glen who died on (11/01/05) of Multiple Myeloma, cancer of the plasma cell. I was thinking of them both during the 26.2 mile race, please help me make the miles more meaningful as I try to raise awareness and money for this terrible and currently incurable disease. I first met Glen in elementary school then at Rosemount high. Glen and I jammed together through our high school days and he was a great musician.
He was the first guy to introduce me to diverse musical styles - from Rush to Funk, Jazz  and Heavy Metal. He was a great guy and I will miss him. I was shock to find out that he passed away this month and my thoughts go out to his friends and family. Philippe Neron
