Milley, Ches - Teacher 50's & 60's


Death of C. Milley, former Science teacher (Physics) at Rosemount.

MILLEY, Chesley Boyd– Passed away suddenly February 26, 2007 in St. Lambert, Quebec. Born 1923 in Western Bay, Newfoundland, son of Josiah Milley and Amelia Skinner. Survived by his loving wife Helen Forsey; his children: Hazel and Ruth (Steve Kelly); his sisters: Marjorie (Clarence) Jackman and Audrey (Peter) Nell and his step-brother, Bill Matthews. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. A graduate of Acadia and McGill Universities, for 38 years Ches served as an educator: teacher, vice-principal and principal, five years with the Newfoundland Department of Education and thirty-three years with the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal. He was an active member of the St. Lambert Curling Club. A Memorial Service will be held at the St. Lambert United Church on Thursday, March 15th at 3:00 p.m. Visitation, prior to the service, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Oncology Department of the Montreal General Hospital, 1650 Cedar Avenue, Montreal, Quebec, H3G 1A4
